Better Late Than Never And No… It Wasn’t Procrastination!

Monday, July 7th, 2008

I have mentioned before that I have committed to posting to my friend Katherine Reschke’s Passion Project Blog. Each member is committed to a monthly post, and I’ve just posted mine, that was supposed to be up on… June 24.

Yes. I know. It’s very bad. No excuse, except that I’ve been really busy, and I promised myself to write it tomorrow, then tomorrow, then tomorrow. Of course, I could have slapped together a couple of paragraphs, but you don’t want to do that for a blog called The Passion Project, do you?

Anyway, now it’s up and if you feel like visiting, here is the link. But don’t read just my post. There are lots of interesting posts there, written by people equally fueled by a passion. Come and check them out!

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

A Weekend Away From Translation

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

Good Morning Faithful Readers,

Do not expect to see me at the computer this weekend, this blog is taking a -short- holiday, and its owner too.

Mother’s Day is this Sunday in France, and coincides with my elder child’s birthday, as it has quite a few times in the past 24 years ;)

I cannot afford to let everyone down on this occasion! I will of course be checking a few things, like I did recently too. And I’ll be back on Sunday evening.

What about you? Are there occasions when you feel you need to ‘close shop’ for events that you consider too important to miss?
